Plymouth, MA, August 13, 2007.   Flexo Concepts, manufacturers of MicroClean™ dry media anilox cleaning systems and TruPoint™ plastic and composite doctor blades, announced today its plans to exhibit at GRAPH EXPO 2007 on September 9-12 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.

Again this year, Flexo Concepts will join over 500 exhibitors from across the commercial printing and converting industries displaying their newest technology and products.  The show is considered by many to be the industries’ largest, most comprehensive event in the Americas; to date, over 400,000 square feet of display space has been booked and attendance is expected to exceed 40,000.

At this year’s show, Flexo Concepts will introduce its new MicroClean™ Model 60 for offset applications.  The MicroClean™ Anilox Cleaning System effectively removes coatings from anilox cells using recyclable dry plastic media to ensure uniform coating coverage and consistent product quality.  The off-press system has been proven to clean all types of inks and coatings from rolls efficiently, economically and repeatedly without cell damage. 

As well as its MicroClean™ line of equipment, Flexo Concepts will feature its MicroClean™ Anilox Roll Cleaning Service. By using the service, printers can experience the benefits of the technology before purchasing the equipment.  The roll cleaning service is also an ideal way for those who maintain multiple anilox rolls to make MicroClean™ part of a regular deep cleaning regimen without making the capital investment.  The service is quick and reliable with only a three-day turnaround.  To promote the service, Flexo concepts will give away a voucher for a free roll cleaning each day during the show.  An entry form can be obtained at the company’s booth #1463.

Flexo Concepts was the proud recipient of the “Worth-a-Look” award at last year’s Graph Expo show for its MicroClean™ technology.  MicroClean™ was distinguished as one of Graph Expo’s most innovative and compelling products among 5,700 individual products exhibited at the event and one most likely to make a significant impact on the sheetfed offset market for anilox roll cleaning.

The company will also highlight its premier TruPoint™ doctor blade, UltraFlex, which is the leading alternative to steel for sheetfed offset tower coating applications.  UltraFlex is engineered from a thin weave fiberglass composite material and provides the same level of stiffness as steel while increasing blade life up to four times.
